I've always contemplated getting surgery done on my eyes to get double eyelids, but it would take me a while to save up for it and I'm not sure if I want it to be permanent in case it doesn't turn out good! I just wanted to know if anyone ever tried these? I see them on ebay all the time, do they work? Also, I've used tapes before, but the ones I tried suck! Anyone know any good brands? Thanks in advance!

your best bet is to google it. i remember seeing this video of someone doing it for a brand, but i don't remember where i saw it

 
o ... i've seen a video of it too (on some other forum)

and a couple of ppl have tried it and liked it a lot ... can't remember the brand ... but it's a Japanese brand

 
yup ^ that's the video i was thinking of too ... i was going to buy it ... but it's one more step to add to my mu routine and i'm too lazi .. lol

 
Thanks for all the help everyone! I think Imma tryout the no name brand one first! Those koji ones seems so pricey. does anyone know if ebay is the only place you can get these thingys? Thanks in advance, I hope I don't sound too annoying :wassatt:

 
i think it's a great idea. esp for asians since most of use don't have dble lids

 
I've always wanted to try it too. I've tried eyelid tape and it works well, but sometimes it feels a bit annoying and it's hard to get both eyes looking the same. I think the glue would be more convient.

I'm using a double eyelid glue now and have been for awhile since I do not have equal looking double eyelids on both eyes. The one I have costs me less than 10 bucks. I recall going to the store and opening to see the insides of one costing twice as much and it seems to me to be the same thing- a whitish liquid that turns clear after application...actually, I suspect that these double eyelid glues are simply eyelash glues- they look the same, dries off to the same transparant colour and even smell the same. I think that these eyelid glue works better for people with non- puffy eyelids though..I have puffy eyelids and I notice it doesn't seem to work well for me, I never get it quite as nice as they do in those videos and I've experimented with many different types of tactnics. Sometimes, I work on them for about 20 min before I even get something that's somewhat satisfactory. But I guess its better than nothing though...

 
i think i saw the exact tutorial! wasnt it on here? anyway it WAS interesting, and if your gonna do surgery on your eyes especially cosmetic i would do ALOT of research on the surgeon doing it!!!

 
wow! i have never heard of that before....

is it comfortable?? what about when you blink?
