Hi all,

What does your spouse or significant other think of your skincare routine and/or purchases? Does it drive them crazy?

He thinks I'm nuts because my routine has so many different steps. But I don't think he minds too much because he's always complimenting my skin.

ditto for me! he just thinks i spend way to much time in the bathroom! lmao~

My husband buys the stuff for me...just got a 50 $ gift certificate for MAC today and a (15) pro pallette... :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

My fiance is the only guy I've dated who was even remotely tolerant on the time and money I put into skincare and make-up.

Sometimes he'll plop down in the bathroom and watch me go through all the steps while talking about his day and asking about mine. Then, every once in a while he'll stop and ask what a certain product is and what it does.

I feel really good about the fact that he tries to take an interest even though its mostly driven by curiousity.

Sometimes he's overwhelmed by the number of products on the counter and shelves or asks if I really need all the products I use. But for the most part he's a good sport.

My boyfriend thinks I take forever to get ready.. umm no haha!

And he also says he can't even tell I have makeup on... except for e/s.. I guess that's a good thing, not sure :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

"But baby, you have so much moisturizer already"...Lol..I buy too much. I was trying to get him into the apple cider vinegar routine.

Nope.

I just love my husband, he never complaint about my purchases because I always purchase stuff that I need the most. He even sometimes help me read the ingredients and stuff.

My partner never compalins becasue I can be in & out in 15 min. He spends 1hr or more just primping, and it's always when we are in a hurry. He is obsessed with his hair.

My husband never complains about how much makeup and skincare products cost. As long as he has beer and food, he is happy :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

John doesn't even pay attention to my skincare regimen... I'm trying to get him to care more about his skin, but he's too macho... At least he uses my cleanser if nothing else LOL!

We use the same amount of skin care, so no, it doesn't bother him! lol

We are both still fighting acne (even though we are in our mid-20's), so we each have our own facial wash, and we share one acne treatment. I also use a second acne treatment just for myself, while hubby adds a moisturzer for some extremely dry, peeling skin on his nose. (I've never figured out why his nose gets so dry, but the rest of his face is still oily and acne prone!)

Well my fiance and I don't live together, but when we were on a trip together recently he laughed at me for my skin care routine. He told me that I done too much! lol Of course, his definition of skin care is shaving and a splash of cold water on his face of a morning.

He used to have terrible acne, and used L'Oreal Pure Zone, but now we can't find it in our area. His face actually looks better since he stopped using Pure Zone.

When my boyfriend spends the night and sees what I have to go through every night he can't believe it. I spend nearly 20-25 mins in the bathroom. It's all worth it anyway :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

my brother occasionally steals me my acne products, and if he also shaves in the same day, you know he's going to see his girlfriend :add_wegbrech:

Drives DH crazy. He always wants to know what takes me so long to get to bed. So I ask him if he thinks Im pretty, and when he says yes, I reply: "This is what it takes." :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

He also has a VERY sensitive nose, so if I wear too many overly smelly creams actually will keep him awake.
