ive never really had oily skin before, but now its become much more oily. this summer has been the most humid ive seen for a LONG time. but do you think my skin is more oily because of the weather? or is it just me? thankyou
 
i think so, in the winter my skin is more on the dry side and i can wear liquid foundation ,, but in the summer, i'm constantly searching for a product to keep my T-zones matte

 
It's highly possible. I think my face is oilier in the summer at least too. The rest of me stays pretty dry year round *lol*

yeah ive neeeever had to try to make my skin LESS oily, it was always MORE oily.

a lot oilier in the summer than the other seasons. Always seem to have a lot more acne in summer has well. I am certain there is a correlation.

o .. me too ... i rarely have zits ... for some reason ... it's like cuz my skin is producing more oil in the summer or wuteva .. i keep having zits pop up all over the place and it's driving me nuts!!
 
its cause of the weather. i have to change some skincare stuff to accodemate with the weather.

 
I have oily skin anyway - terribly. But this summer it's been BAAAD. It's been so humid - especially the past few days. Thankfully it's raining right now and the humidity is supposed to go away for a few days at least. Maybe that will help me. Doubtful.

 
I have oilier skin in the summer too and in the winter it's quite dry which I like as I'm constantly trying to make it drier!

 
yes, I get dry patches in the winter. Never have that problem in the summer, I get more oily and sweat too so I break out from my sweat and oil--nice huh

wow. its nice to know i'm not the only one with an oil slick on their face during the summer. now what can we do about it?

 
My face is ridiculously oily all year long.... however, I have noticed that my hair is oily in the summer and dry in the winter! So it makes sense that some people may experience that pattern with their face too!

 
Summer is horrible on my skin!! I try not to wear too much make-up because it just seems like it melts off anyways because my face is soo oily!

 
I guess the benefit of having oily skin is that it keeps your skin looking younger, longer. But other than that, it is such a pain when it comes to makeup. I like to use oil blot sheets for my face in the afternoon, and it helps keep me looking fresh without smudging my makeup.

 
Yeah, my skin sure is oilier in the summer, especially if the humidity's high, too.

In the winter, it's so dry I need to always wear moisteriser, can get by skippeing that in the summer.
