I was just wondering if a green concealer helped to disguise redness.. or bright pink in my case. Its soo embarrassing, my cheeks and the side of my face will just go bright pink and I feel very flushed (I don't know if its rosacea). I've checked on my mineral makeup site and they do a green based powder for redness. Does it really work though?, I don't want to look green! lol xxxxx

i does work if you blend it in very well, but i'm not sure how it will look on pink actually

I use green to cover the little red spots on my face - and it does work.

As far as large portions of the face, I wouldnt know! Sorry, but good luck!

It does but once i blend it in I start to see a bit of red again.

aww I'm sorry about your redness. Green concealers and powders will work, but they're mostly used for acne and red spots..not really full coverage. My friend used to get red, flushy faced and she swears by Eucerin Redness Relief Lotion. I know that's not what you were asking, but just thought I'd tell you.

I've never tried it, so I don't know. I noticed Smashbox has a green looking concealer, but I don't know how it works. Best of luck to you!

I've tried Physicians Formula for spot treatments. It comes in a tube like a lipstick or a pan. Works fairly well.

I have used green mineral powder and it does work! I used to be a 'blusher' too and spent years with green creams.... i find that as i get older the problem has lessened..- but i do find the green powder great.

i would use a foundation matched to exactly my skin color.

usually green concealer is used to spot treat small areas

of the face that have blemishes.

Green is the complimentary to red - the exact opposite, so yes, green will counteract redness.

Green (for example) mineral powder is great under mineral foundation - for pale skins, but blue is actually better for yellow toned skins (which is me.....).

Green concealer works wonders for me, and at times I've used it on large areas because of the same issue you spoke of. I'm switching to minerals currently, and I'll probably get some mint color corrector in my next purchase.
