minor scars? my skin seems to like to hyperpigment when I get a cut sometimes. Just recently I got a gash on the side of my knee from my desk at work. It's dangerous, lol!

I have very fair skin not sure if that matters. I make sure I protect my skin (especially new scars/cuts) from the sun, so I know it's not the sun that's making it hyperpigment.

Anyway, I have used mederma in the past, but that is really for smoothing out scars. Mine are smooth so it never helped. Luckly I don't hyperpigment on my face if I get a breakout, good thing, lol!

Thanks in advance!!

Summer we have an oil called skin conditioning oil and a cream called rejuvenate that is to help with scars. Alot of plastic surgeon and surgeons use it on their patients. It is not a bleach or exfoliant but what it does is reconditions the skin and helps it heal. I used it after surgery on my stomach and all I have is a very tiny, not noticable line that unless I tell you to look for it you won't see it. It is used on stretch marks from pregnant ladies and moms to be who love the results. (You can see them at my website below my name and if you have questions, just ask

I use tretinoin or hydroxyquinone on n off on my spots...since few years. tretinoin cause peeling n hydroxyquinone has mild bleaching effect..which is temporary.

none of the above should b overused as it can cause damage n inflammation to skin n increase post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation

u can give it a try...hope it helps.

Try lemons wierd i know but it's suppose to lighten those kinds of things! I'm doing a baking soda exfoilation and lemons for lightne dark spots! It's cheap so give it a try!
