gross question, but come on, you know it happens to everyone LOL

i always thought i was the type to never sweat, even in 100-degree weather, and i usually don't, but at the gym, i get really sweaty. it's okay because it makes me feel buff lol

do you ever sweat? i guess it just depends on the person because i know people that sweat for no reason.

oh, and my palms get sweaty when i'm nervous, but i think that's normal.

normally not really. but i went to a ska show today and was dancing around like a moron with a whole room of other couple hundered people. so obviously i was sweating a lot. but thats kinda expected.

I sweat excessively, even when I'm walking to work I sweat. I don't smell or anything though thank goodness! I had mumps last March and was really ill and ever since then it's like my body hasn't been able to control my sweating or something, before I had mumps I was fine and hardly ever sweat!

Everyone sweats somewhat - however little or much! Maybe someone could post some tips to cut it down to zero :icon_smil (and don't say sit still and don't move, keeping the temp to -23 degrees!!)

Yep I sweat... the first thing that does is my face (unfortunately for my makeup) but nothing else gets too bad except maybe my back if I'm out in the middle of summer mowing the grass or something.

Back when I was 12 or 13, it used to happen under my arms- that was so embarrassing! Thank goodness it isn't common for me anymore

rarely, only if I'm working out or on holidays somewhere extremely hot.

I don't sweat that much, except if the weather is really hot or if I am working out. When I used to live in Singapore, I used to sweat more because it was much more humid over there.

My hubby sweats a lotttt on his palm...sometimes I tease him: "Did you just switch on the water fountains in your palm?" LOL

I sweat alot when I work out, you can even see it bead up on my forearms. I think I sweat so much because I retain so much water even though I don't eat salt. It sucks in the summer.

Whats up with the people that dont sweat? I sweat just like my dad when he was alive, my mom doesnt sweat much. I remember in gym when I was in high school, a guy in my class actually said, "Man, you sweat a lot!" My shirt was soaked, hair soaked, sweat all over my face, and all I was doing was walking to the track. I actually dont like to be outside in the heat for more than 2 seconds b/c I sweat so bad. I cant wear white shirts much, I replace basic white tees that I wear under stuff every year b/c they turn yellow. I have even used drysol (the prescription deoderant), and it makes you not sweat under your armpits, but then you sweat more everywhere else to compensate for it. I havent had a problem in a long time, in a couple months I will, when it starts getting 110 and feeling like an oven outside.

i am not sure if it is oil or sweat, but my face starts to sweat first. i can be doing anything, and it always happens eventually in my day. i don't really wear deodorant, so i don't sweat too much, and i don't smell. they say if you don't wear anti-persperant, you sweat less.

Under "normal" circumstances, like at work or something, I don't really sweat as long as I wear anti-perspirant. (If I forget anti-perspirant I have sweat stains in an hour! lol) But if I get hot in the summer I sweat pretty easily, and I often sweat at night and wake up all stinky which grosses hubby out :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> He makes fun of me for sweating so easily but I know I don't sweat as much as some people who have a real problem with it! But then again, hubby only wears deodorant, not anti-perspirant, and he never sweats! (I am always the one wanting to turn the thermostat colder in our house!)

I think it's normal to sweat. I don't, however, think it's normal to sweat so much that your clothes are drenched, unless you've been doing some intense workout. I sweat when I hit the gym and if I didn't break a sweat I know I didn't workout hard enough.

I can pretty much tolerate any temp, cold or hot, but can't stand HUMIDITY! What a cruel form of punishment. No matter how hard you try, nothing helps when it's humid except swimming and staying indoors with the AC.

Jen, when you know you're going to workout, make sure to drink plenty of water before, during and after. Sweating when you exercise isn't a bad thing, but getting overheated and dehydrated isn't so great. I've found cool water quenches my thirst during workouts better than ice cold, which is my favorite.
