I know a bunch of people here use ACV as a toner, but does anyone drink it? Do you dilute it, with what, when do you take it, what for? I'm veeery curious.

I know on the ACV thread they list a bunch of reasons people use it but i'd like to know why and how different people use it.

i tried drinking like a tablespoon in a bottle of water, but it tasted gross

i should take like a shot of it. lol

^ It stands for apple cider vinegar.

And to answer the question, I have never drank it, but I believe it is disgusting lol.

i tried it once, i just used 1tsp and dilute it in a glass of water but i really can't take it, i read that it's good for dysmenorrhea, but i really can't stand how it smell and taste.

so i just decided to use it as toner and still it stinks...but mu husband tried it and he likes it on his face, so now he's the one using it as toner.

I have been drinking it off and on since our "8 glasses of water a day" thread. about one teaspon in a big glass of water, whenever I remember to do it (I keep the bottle next to the sink I usually get my water from). I´d rather really dilute it and just drink it more often, otherwhise it´s just too acid-y.

my skin keeps looking better (but I`m sure not only because of drinking ACV, also because of using it as a toner, my microdermabrasion and glyocolic peels).

oh and it has helped with my digestion too!

I used to.. honestly, just because I've always loved the taste of it lol but, it didn't do anything drastic for my skin.. or anything else for that matter.

hm I honestly don´t remember anymore cause I´ve used it for a quite a while, and I think my skin has gotten used to it a bit. but it still dries up small whiteheads really fast (I don´t dilute it cause my skin is not sensitive). my pores didn´t get smaller from it though.oh and I do believe it has helped fade some acne marks too (of course in combo with the drinking lots of water, sometimes with ACV, glycolic peel and microdermabrasion)

I was considering it, but I am kinda/sorta into the Auryvedic stuff, and I am a classic Pitta. According to Auryveda, Pittas shouldn't drink any, any type of vinegar. And that includes pickles, hambuger relish, salad dressing made with vinegar, etc.

I have never really liked vineagary stuff anyway, so I'm going to try and stick with this new suggestion. I'm such a freak.

My boyfriend and i tried it. Well, he ended up with his head in the sink, he threw up and hated it. And well i, just gagged. Its a horrible taste.

I used to drink it every day. I bought one bottle Australian brand ACV + Honey concentrate and diluted some in the water to drink.. It doesn't smell nice I agree but like Arielle said, it really help my digestion and bowel habit

I tried it a few times, it's pretty burning but the taste is sweet though.

I read you have to dilute it in a glass of water.. do you think it would still work if i diluted it into something that would mask the taste...say ... a smoothie????
