I just bought an Arden Cerimide lip moisturizer. When I took it out of the box, the info sheet called it a lip plumper. I used it yesterday and it burned the you-know-what out of my lips! They feel like I've been out in the wind all day. Anyone else have this experience? Any chance it wasn't actually the product?

lip plumpers are meant to make your lips bigger, so its a bit odd that they called it a moistirizer and then lip plumper. some people have had similar effects to what you describe when using them, i guess it depends on your lips and the plumper.

I thought it was strange, too. But the circular in the box explianed that moisturizing plumps your lips, hence the productis a plumper. It took several layers of skin off! Ouch!

That sounds scary.. I use DuWop's Lip Venom regularly. It makes my lips tingle but no way does it burn the hell outta them. Be careful

i agree....i use them and if anything, i find them more moisturizing than regular lip balms that are supposed to prevent chapping. ever since i started using them, i have never had a problem with chapping. i use lip fusion everyday and it comes in lots of pretty colors. city lips doesnt really plump much, but it makes your lips look nice and really moisturizes well. but some on before you go to sleep, and you will never have chapped lips! it works for me :icon_conf
