Recently a good friend of mine started making her own makeup, night time treatments, and soaps. So for the past two weeks I've been using her soaps. They really are excellent. I was wondering if anyone here has made their own soaps? For instance she made 3 different types of soap for me.

Some have oatmeal, lavender, and the last has gree tea. They are really easy to do and can be made to best heal or soothe you own skin.

I have been reading up on soap making, I am thinking of doing it.

I like idea of olive oil and crushed almond shell ...

Yap, I make my own soap (oatmeal, shea butter, milk, kiwi, wheat germ) all great for the skin........................

Hi Angela. I'm her friend and no I'm just an amateur but I really love doing this. It's so easy and the end result is more than amazing to me. This week I've been on the Oatmeal and.............. you name it kick and I've only been washing my face with it and love the results I've been seeing. Last week was the Green Tea and.......... kick :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Kiwi sounds so delicious! How long have you been doing it?

Sounds great too. Also I like that Plazan site too :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Natural soaps are the greatest, no chemicals, no animal fat, no harsh detergents - I have even been using them to wash my hair and since they don't strip it, I have alot more body than I ever had using commercial "volumizing" shampoos.

I make my own soaps, lotions, body scrubs, shampoo, lip balm.... the lot.

Not make up yet though (except lip gloss) but I do have some stuff ready to try and get some e/s made.

I don't sell yet, hoping to soon but it costs a lot to get certified to UK legal requirements.
