I am putting in my bimonthly plug for this box. I love it - I have used or am hoarding every single items. The value is always good for the money and some of the products you get are amazing. There is usually one full size out of six and the other five are true deluxe/travel sizes. There were two products in the Holiday Collection that I have been using daily for three weeks and they are barely gone. The Mukti Eye Gel is awesome and I want to use it all over my face!

I know the branding turns people off, but this is the quiet little sub that could. I probably shouldn't encourage you guys to join since we all know what happens when subs get big, but I have to take care of my girls!

I don't really do that, but if you click on the link above and look on the left hand menu for "Discover with Marta", there are photos, some user reviews and product listings!

 
I got my box last night, which is I think my fourth collection. It's the first one that has disappointed me.

We've got a deluxe sample of Arcona White Ice, Marta's new conditioner in a travel size, a code ai sample (either a lash growth, brow growth and I can't rember what the third choice was, mine was lash), a deluxe oil sample (I think Red Flower) and a few foil packets of a Pureceuticals peel. Those are all fine, and I was actually excited about the White Ice, because I've been wanting to try that. But the kicker was two sets of a crapload of Retrospect foil packets. I think there are at least ten in each set. Usually I don't mind foil packets, I just dump them into a sample jar and use them. But two sets? Really?
 
I am VERY disappointed. I am complaining. This sub is too pricey for foil packets in hell. Please complain, too!

I have loved the Discover with Marta boxes for several months. This most recent box was horribly disappointing. Two foil samples of enzyme peel? Two sets of foil samples of ten different products, barely enough for two uses? This was NOT a quality box and I am disappointed.

 
Just an update:

Marta emailed me today saying she was refunding me $24. She explained she thought the multiple foil packs with so many products was a such an opportunity to try many things. It was very sweet. I asked for a store credit instead of a refund because I want to buy the Royal Jelly Bee Venom Mask she sent as a sample a few month back & I figured the credit is less costly to her. Nice!

 
That is a good response! I finally had a chance to put in my two cents today:

I just wanted to write to express my disappointment with the most recent collection I received. I've been very pleased with my previous collections, so I think the bar had been set very high and this last one was just lacking, in my opinion. I've come to expect more than foil packets from  Discover with Marta. Typically, I don't mind foil packets, but in this case, I would have been happier with fewer products to sample and more uses.

That said, I am pleased about the Arcona and Red Flower products, those are both excellent choices.

We'll see what response I get.

We are very upset that you are disappointed with your most recent collection. As you know, we work mostly with small, independent producers and it is punishingly expensive for them to produce deluxe samples. At the same time, we are absolutely committed to making sure our members get to try excellent products with enough of the sample to get to know and, hopefully, enjoy it.

With Restrospect, we judged that their sachets represented such a wide selection of products and that it would be fun to try out so many different things, and with PureCeuticals, each sachet was intended for one application, as you should use them only once a week.

We hoped to introduce new brands and products to the Truth In Aging community, as well as give you a preview of our latest Truth In Aging product before anyone else, however I am very sorry that all together they failed to surprise and delight you. Simultaneously, we’re very grateful for the feedback as our goal is to make this program better and better for you.
