A single strand of one of my hairs is 0.04 mm thick (I measured it with a caliber.)  This is on thickest end of the fine hair spectrum, almost entering coarse hair territory.  Is my hair still too fine for a digital perm?  My hair currently has no damage or split ends, and I hardly use straighteners or curling irons. Does anyone have experience with similar hair?

I haven't had a digital perm but from what I have read I don't see why you couldn't do it. It would give your hair lots of body.

Did you end up getting the digital perm?  I was searching through the forum because I am getting ready to get one again (see silly avatar for my last digital perm in July '12.)

Anyway, my hair is fine and thin and it took the digital perm pretty well.  I do have lots of split ends and breakage now but that's also because I only get a haircut like 3 times a year.  But my point is that I would think your hair could take one, it sounds like a good texture for it.
