Diaper cream for spot treatment?

I was just reading over on acne.org that the diaper cream Desitin can help reduce zits. I guess its because its very high in zinc and also has cod liver oil in it. Has anyone tried it here? I kind of want to pick some up... I just feel a little weird smearing diaper cream on my face. :laughing:
