DHC Skincare

Has anyone tried these products? I got a catalog today and am interested in the Deep cleansing oil, and the Velvet Skin Coat primer, I will try the sample tonight and tomorrow, but would love opinions.

I loved DHC for a few months!! I still love the Deep Cleansing Oil and the Extra-Virgin Olive Oil. The velvet skin coat clogged my pores though.

I use quite a bit from their line and IMO the quality is above average. My favorites are their toners, moisturizers (especially the Ceramide Cream, Extra Nighttime Moisture, Olive Cream), Renewing AHA Cream (exfoliating treatment) and their cleansing oil. The products I've liked least from them are their soaps and the EVOO, only because the soap burned my nose and the EVOO is a lot of money to spend on...olive oil.

Oh I love DHC!! I havent found anything from them yet that I havent liked. I just started using the velvet skin coat which I have no idea how I did without it. I hope that I dont have any problems with it clogging my pores because I really, really like it!! lol

I have tried a bunch of things from DHC. I like their cleansing oil. I used to use their mild soap religiously, but I found it actually started to give me flakies that required a lot of moisturizer. My goal these days is to avoid a lot of moisturizer by not drying out with cleansing and toning.

I used to adore the Emollient Balm from DHC but the smell is a bit gross. I bought the alpha arbutin and I didn't notice it doing anything. I got a sample of Clarins Bright Plus and I noticed a difference in week!

Good luck with DHC. I think it is very good stuff.

I think I will start with the Cleansing Oil and the I want to try the velvet skin coat. I would still like to hear other products that others like, like should I get the whole line with the cleansing oil, or should I try the Olive Oil line?

I think I am going to order today for the Oil, and the velvet skin, and will go from there!! Thanks Naturally, this was a big help, My DD has a small pimple problem I am wondering if the soap would help dry out her skin as she is very oily, and maybe that would help her. I am going to do it today!!

I love the Deep Cleansing Oil!!! I just started using it right before Christmas and my skin looks better now than it did before...Love the way it gets rid of my eye makeup in a single swoop(not all that rubbing & tearing at the eye).Plus it doesn't break my acne prone dry skin out, really seems to dee clean & soften it,too--I use Cetaphil every other night only because of the relative expense of Deep Cleansing Oil, but I very highly reccomend it.

For those of you who use the Cleansing Oil, do you use it as an everyday cleanser or just at night to remove makeup?

i use the cleansing oil everyday, twice a day, and love it! i think my skin looks 100% better since using it! it must be because my skin isn't being stripped of oils now.

has anyone else read the testimonials on the dhc site? i by chance found them by clicking on skincare info instead of skincare, and they are pretty neat! they tell you what products work for certain people and how long they have been using dhc products. a good way to decide what would work best for you considering your age and skintype!

I tried some of their stuff a few years back, I thought it was okay. Their cleansing oil gets lots of raves, but you could do the same thing with a mix of castor and olive oil. Or castor and pretty much any other non votaile plant oil.

I just placed my first order with DHC online yesterday -- for their Velvet Skin Coat. I also got to choose four free samples with the order, which was very cool.

For those of you who have ordered from them, can you please tell me what their order processing time is like? I put the order in for "Overnight" shipping, but the site says to allow one to TWO days. I placed the order pretty early morning yesterday, so would have hoped to see the package today, but I know some websites are kind of slow to ship.... /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

They are fast but I am not sure if you'd get it overnite, I placed an order on Monday, no speacial shipping and had it Thursday of the same week!!

I love the velvet coat, but found that Monostat makes a chafe gel that has almost the same ingredients, and for $6+ big tube, I found this out on this sight, have been using it ever since and love it, search the threads for it. But I love the Cleansing Oil, it takes off everything without scrubbing.

I've never heard of Monostat. Where'd you find it?

My husband uses the Eye Bright. He loves it.
