Derms and extrations

Does your dermatologist do extractions?

I don't see a derm. In fact, I've never seen a derm. Extractions of what? (Excuse me, if that is a dumb question).

I go to an esthetician regularly and he does extractions when I need them. It hurts like heck sometimes.

Mel, extractions are the removal of blackheads, etc.

I always extract when needed but only after steaming and only what comes out easy.

i do my own extractions. i have a comedone extractor. i know estheticians do it but i don't know about dermatologists. (it's where they get the nasty stuff like black heads out of your skin) does hurt sometimes depending on the area and how bad it its. also if your skin is sensitive due to just being, getting ready to have your period ect.
