How good is there oil control lotion? anyone tried it, Its very expensive and Id like to try it but first how good is it? Ive heard Victoria Beckham uses their range

I use their special cleansing gel and daily microfoliant, both are very good but I haven't tried the oil control lotion. Do you have a salon near you that carries Dermalogica? You'll probably be able to get a sample from them to try out.

Yeah, I did a search and found some beauty salons that stock it, Im going to go today and get some, I've read some reveiews online and they've been real good and some bad, But I think Im still gonna give it a try, Im unsure if to get a bottle or get the kit for oily skin which includes the lotion aswell as other trial sized bottles

i use it and the gel based cleanser, microexfoliant, daily exfoliator and anti bac cleanser religiously.

the lotion is nice and thin and gel-based and i find i dont even need that much. it mattifies almost instantly and works as a good makeup primer too. if you have oily skin, i swear by it!

Thank you

I Cant wait to get some now.

I LOOOOOVE Dermalogica! I found it in the States...and have been in LOVE with it ever sense! My face has never been better and especially sense being over here in the desert...I don't know what I would have looked like after 2 years without it! GREAT investment for yourself

The Sunscreen is amazing@!!!!!

Thanks for the tips everyone! I've heard good things about the line, but never tried it.

the best skin care line for me, hands down! i use their special cleansing gel, skin prep scrub, skin hydrating mask, skin refining mask and the multi vitamin mask. i do have their oil control lotion, but haven't given it a try yet. i think i'll conduct a test starting tomorrow and let you know what happens.

I decided to get the oily skin care kit which included the oil control lotion aswell as a skin refining masque, soothing eye makeup remover, multi active toner, skin prep scrub and a dermal clay cleanser, all for 19.90. I thought the trail sizes would be best to see what I liked. I havent tried them out yet, Ive read what they do and when you use them, but I might give em a try later.

I have to say: If you have tried all commercial brands and nothing works, try Dermalogica.

I have extremely sensitive (most makeup/skincare brands itch or pain) skin with a slightly oilier, but easily reddening and flaking T-zone, all else is dry. I also have black/whiteheads all over my T-zone and hormonal zits/bumps/blotches that often goes inwards *sigh*.

Since I've started with the Dermalogica skin routine the dryness is gone, pimples extremely smaller, less red and painful and heals in a flash (compared to before). The blackheads have not lessened in amount but they are considerably less noticable as the overall skin condition have improved. In the beginning I did experienced a massive worsening of zits and blackheads as the skin pushed out the bad stuff.

My routine consists of: Ultra-calming clenser, multi-toner, skin smoothing cream. Once in a while I exfoliate with Gentle cream exfoliant and moisturize afterwards(it's a must, or else I'll feel like my face shrinked and wrinkled to half the size) with Skin hydrating masque. I like to keep it simple. I also use a MIY MMU foundation with allantion mixed with skin smoothing cream as a concealer as a cover-up where needed (the need is lessening

).

I hereby swear that Dermalogica is the only commercial brand I'll ever buy again. The only thing that could make me swap would be if I found some magical (preferrably MIY) products that would remove all the blackheads (and zits) while not irritating my skin.

We'll see if I find my HG's .. I'm searching high and low for them and will report my progress

Have a great day!

I think she was quoting British pounds, the current exchange rate is roughly 2 USD to 1GBP.

well, as i promised i did use the oil control lotion and i have to say that i like the active moist better. the oil control lotion is light weight and would be excellent for someone with super oily skin. i would say my skin is normal to oily and acne prone, so it made my skin seem a bit too dry for my liking.

i also picked up the daily microfoliant to deal with some of my hyperpigmentation issues. man, this stuff is amazing! it comes in a dry powder that you mix with just a drop or two of water and rub the problem area for about one minute. i saw results right away and plan to use it everyday as long as my skin can tolerate it.

i guess i've officially switched to dermalogica products. i'm currently using the special cleansing gel, daily microfoliant and active moist as part of my daily regime. that pretty much replaces just about everything i've been using and my skin is doing great!

I haven't used the oil control lotion, as I have dry skin but I think that dermalogica is superb.

If you try it and like it, Beauty Flash - Dermalogica & More is a great place to buy from - cheaper than most places and also they give you a sample of your choice for every product you buy.
