i never thought i'd find anything to replace my hg aveeno clear complexion, but i think this may just be the one. the great thing is hubby and i both use it and his skin is looking great as well! leaves my skin super clean feeling without drying it out and i haven't had a breakout in weeks! excellent product for men and women! my hubby wears his head bald and this cleanser has improved his skin tone and corrected some rough patches on his head! if you have oily, breakout prone skin you may want to give this one a try. they also offer a 2oz size. once i finished the two ouncer, i opted for the industrial size (i think it's 16ozs) and refill the two ounce bottle so hubby doesn't try to use on his whole body! lmao~

Hmmm...sounds like its just what I need, where did you get it and how much?

ladies, i been using it for about a month now. i started just using it once per day to remove my makeup and still used my aveeno in the morning. now i use it twice a day and haven't used my aveeno in several days, so i guess it's been replaced! you can only find it at spas or skincare salons. here's a link to the site. you can search for locations in your area. if you have oily skin i know you'll love it!

Cool! I wanna check it out. Thanks for letting us know!

Do you think it's good for combination skin?

it says that it works for all skin types, so i think you're in luck! i'm oily and acne-prone and it works great for me!

I trained with Dermalogica products at college. Special Cleansing Gel can be used on all skin types.

Glad to hear it's working for you

Other cleansers that are good for oily/congested skins by Dermalogica are the anti-bac skin wash and the dermal clay cleanser.

me too bec! i use alot of dermalogica products in my services, but thought that i had found my hg skincare products, so didn't really use them personally. using this cleanser twice daily has allowed me to change my entire regime! i've been able to go to a less expensive moisturizer and my treatments are working much better.

i never thought it would be possible for any product to change a persons skin type. my skin has been oily and acne prone for at least 7-10 years (since my late thirties) and since i started using this cleanser the oil seems to be balancing out and i even have some spots that seem to be dry. my new moisturizer is oil free so that may be contributing to the dryness, but i'm not really concerned right now. with summer here i like that i'm not so oily. has anyone had a similar experience with this cleanser?

I love Dermalogica. Its one of the few skin care ranges that's gentle enough for my use.

Me too. That is all I use.

Yup, gotta agree to the ravings. Dermalogica is the only thing yet which actually works for a sensitive and dry skin.

However! When I first started it, my skin went even worse than before, giving me zits by the double, not to speak of the blackheads. I still have _alot_ of blackheads but the zits are almost gone, they are at least not large anymore. I _love_ the texture Dermalogica gives my skin, it does feel soft and well mosturisd, but I'm not that satisfied with the zit/blackhead reduction yet. I'll probably give it a few more weeks, but if it doesn't clear up I'll probably change.
