ok, so i know i've said that origins out of trouble was my hg mask, but i used this product last week and i saw immediate results! i had some congestion on the right side of my face (it always seems to be on the verge of a breakout) and instead of my origins i used dermalogica skin refining mask. i mixed it with alittle distilled water because i wasn't sure of the product strength (i wouldn't use it full strength!). i felt my skin tighten immediately and could see the congestion reducing. when i washed off the mask my face felt less oily, like the mask had just sucked the oil from my skin. i think this may be my new hg, at least for times when i have issues. oily skin girls, you may want to check this one out, it really works! anyone else have some dermalogica products i should be adding to my regime? please post and let me know!

Thanks for the rec! But I am curious -- did your skin stay matte for very long? I've tried a couple of masks, and with each mask it felt "tight" as soon as it dried, and when I washed it off, it felt like all the oil was gone, just like you described. However, within a few hours my skin was back to its normal, oily self....

I use the oil crontol lotion and it works wonders for me. Wonders. Also, once a week I use the gentle exfoliation mask. That's all I use from Dermalogica.

i would say it took a day or so before i noticed my skin was getting back to normal (more oily). i was really impressed because usually a few hours after washing my face (even if i skip moisturizer) i'm back to being more on the oily side. i plan to replace my mask with this for my weekly facial to see if it will eventually normalize my skin. i'll keep you posted, but so far it's the best thing i've used.

i really like the gentle cream exfoliant as well! i use it in just about all of my services, too. still haven't tried the oil control lotion yet, though. i tried an oil control lotion from another line and it broke me out, so i've been alittle leary. now i can understand why dermalogica is so pricey. it really gets the job done!

i hate to sound stupid, but where can you buy this brand?

(im guessing it's not at Walmart or somewhere similar to that, right? lol im trying to find a good mask that's convinent to buy!)

you have to find a spa that uses this line. it's considered a professional line. i'm not sure if it's available online, but i'll check it out and let you know.

I have to go to the next state to buy this brand but it lasts a long time for me, and I consider it worth the time.

Hi Monnie,

This is the line I use during the warmer months of the year.

As I'm oily in the T-Zone, I love using their Dermal Clay Cleanser, Skin Prep Scrub (exfoliator), Multi Active Toner (non SD alcohol) and Active Moist (moisturizer). Also what I do is alternate between the Dermal Clay Cleanser and their Special Cleansing Gel. I wrote a review on MUT about Skin Prep Scrub.

While attending school for my esthetic studies, I trained on the Dermalogica and Christine Valmy lines.

very cool leza! my school trained on the dermalogica line as well! i love the anti bac skin wash when my skin is congested and i use the multi vitamin mask when my skin is looking dull and lifeless. excellent line, just a bit pricey for me for everyday. i do use it alot in my services because my clients see results very quickly! excellent product line!

I use the "skin smoothing cream" as a daily moisturizer...I went to a Dermalogica skin care place back in Denmark and they made me fill out different stuff about myself....then i had a facial and i was reccomended that cream...been using it ever since...especially good on my cheeks where i always tend to get dry spots :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Dermalogica is a great product line. I trained with it at college. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I love love Dermalogica and Bioelements. They're the only brands where I can really see a difference
