Hola,
A few years ago I desperately wanted bangs and ended up with straight across blunt bangs that would twirl out at the corners. During the time that I was growing out my (really ugly) bangs, I learned some new techniques to make my hair smoother, healthier, etc. I am more confident about my looks and the health of my hair this time around, but I'm still a bit worried that bangs will never work on my face. I have a slightly oval face with almond eyes, high cheek bones, a relatively big nose (not too big, but it's not some dainty slim nose), and full lips. My mother always warned me that my face would look too voluminous with bangs and that they would be unflattering. Since my straight across over the eyebrow bangs were a fail, I was thinking about trying out short, curved bangs that sit above the eyebrows. I really like this style, as I think it opens up the eyes and is kind of retro, but I'm afraid it'll look strange on me.
I also wanted to try adding some blue dye to the tips of the bangs (but just on one side) like this:
This is me, so maybe this'll help you visualize it: http://instagram.com/p/ht9WYuoFYE/
I honestly can't decide what to do. Your thoughts and opinions will be greatly appreciated!
