Day Time Perfume

I need a new day time perfume. Something that is not too strong, but nice, light and refreshing. I currently use Preppy Princess by Vera Wang, but I am ready for a change!

I like Elizabeth Arden Green Tea for the summers.  Its light, unoffensively strong...its a good work type fragrance.   I also like Chanel Chance and Miss Dior Cherie.  They have classic scents.

I love Estee Lauder's Beautiful. It is very feminine and its intense sensuality make it a perfect perfume to wear in daytime.

I looooove Viva La Juicy. It's moderate when you first spray it then fades to a soft, barely there, light fragrance. 

It's hot here in Florida all the time, and I think it's just the bee's knees.

"Sun Java" by Franck Oliver. Top notes are amalfi lemon, peach, black currant, red apple and melon. Middle notes are jasmine, rose, carribbean magnolia and lily. Base notes are musk and amber. It smells sooooooo pretty and is a great daytime scent. It's not heavy at ALL!

I love Bvlgari au the Blanc.  I got a bottle for Christmas.  It doesn't smell like anything else and it is very light and refreshing.  I get compliments on it left and right!

Do you like to use oils?

I use a lot of BPAL scents as the alcohol in most perfumes irritate my skin. If so, a scent I find to be quite light and cheery is called White Rabbit. I have quite a few oils if you are interested in some more information on them. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I hear a lot of great reviews on BPAL.  Most common perfumes give me headaches so I do the scented oil thing too for the most part.  For the past few years I've been using them from a company called ZOMG Smells.  My favorite being a scent called "Candied Head" that they describe as a mix between a head shop and a bakery.  I wore one called "Tasty Canadian" today and got a compliment from the teller at the bank.  She also laughed hysterically when I told her what it was called.

I need to order a handful of the BPAL imps and to see how they smell.

Also... I like to rub the scented oil on my hands and rub the tiniest bit through my hair. Not sure it works but it makes me feel like I smell good if anyone hugs me.

I do the same thing, running my hands through my hair. It doesn't last too terribly long but I still enjoy it. 

I have a few imps I do not care for, I can send some along and maybe start a swapping group! I hate that I have imps sitting around collecting dust.

i dont know if they have pacsuns everywhere i'm from delaware, and we have one at an outlet, but they have a pretty inexpensive perfume called "Nollie".  Its a nice light sent great for day, and i asked for it for christmas and got a very convenient roll on version.  not sure how to describe it, i guess sorta sweet but nice and clean, for sure not musk, i don't like musk.  they always have testers so if you're at a mall or outlet try it out!

I had forgotten about ZOMG, I may have to check them out as well. So far my all time fave BPAL scent is Black Death. Which is amusing when ppl ask me what I am wearing. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks for the information,I think it is a great perfume,but presently I use Marygrenwell Perfume and spray,it gives such a feminine smell and lasts a long time,you can go through it..........
