Over the last year or so I've noticed the skin on my upper lip has developed several flat "beauty marks" (I have them everywhere, so not surprising -just had a new one pop up on the palm of my hand the other day!) but if I get up close to the mirror I can see that there are subtle splotches of color all across my upper lip area, sort of giving it a "dirty" appearance. It's not very obvious, but because I nit-pick my face I notice it. I'm assuming it's from years of tweezing, epilating, and sometimes yes, even shaving (*gasp*) the area, so is there anything I can do to break up/lighten the darkening? I grabbed a lemon at the grocery store last night and am planning on swiping the area with juice twice a day, but if there's a quicker, more effective way to lighten it, I'd love to hear it!
