I need to look into this too! I've had dark circles under my eyes since I was little.....needs lot of help...its had to find a miracle concealer....

I would highly recommend using an eye gel that is specifically used for puffiness and dark circles.

I just started using Murad's eye lighten. It has the chemical you find in most fading creams in the eye cream. It's only been a couple of weeks and my cirlces are quite dark so we'll see what happens. I also use an eye cream with spf so that I won't get sun damage around the eyes.

Some of the Avon eye creams have good reviews...Im thinking of trying one. Im also still on the hunt for a great concealer.

I have dark circles too...those of middle eastern, latin, mediterranean, and south asian ethnicities are especially prone to hyperpigmentation of the undereyes, and it is especially noticeable among those with lighter skin coloring because of the contrast. I definately second using sunscreen on the undereyes to prevent them from further darkening if hyperpigmentation is the problem. In my case my circles are due to various factors, it's due to my diet (grrr...I'm guilty of skipping meals and eating junk), and I'm also anemic...I was prescribed iron tablets by my gp and they look soooo much better even though they were still there, they just aren't as bad and I don't have to use concealer on them everyday...so if your dark circles are particularly bad, and you feel lethargic and weak alot or you have heavy periods, you should pop by the doc's office, could be anemia.

PS. Most eye-creams that claim to get rid of dark circles don't work

I know, I've tried them

so far, taking my vitamin supplements, drinking loads of water, getting enough sleep and using sunscreen on my lids have worked loads better on reducing mine.

Wow, I never knew that!I have had bad dark circles since as long as I remember, and I've been diagnosed anemic in the past (I suspect it has come back actually), I didn't know these two "conditions" could be linked!

As well as using sunscreen: I guess that might help, cause I always burn on the nose and on the cheeks (under the eyes!) first, and I've only recently started wearing a moisturizer /foundation that has sunscreen in it. I'll make sure to apply it under my eyes as well!
