Can someone give me some tips for my straight hair(stick straight lol) to get a little body/curl without using heat appliances. My hair is so damages I would like to lay off the heat for a while to see if that helps. I am taking all the advice about vitamins, conditioning and eating right etc. Started that today, but would like to take it easy on the hair I already have to prevent further outer damage. Thanks any help will be appreciated.

Could those volumizing mousses work? I'm sorry, i'm not a big help, since i have a lot of hair and very volumous . But i imagine it would work; also there's a post from NYAngel98 that showed a tip on how to wake with hair with more volume

My best friend washes her hair at night then sets her damp hair into about 6-8 braids before bed. In the morning she takes them out and has really pretty waves.

You could also set dry hair in big velcro roller, give a few shots of hair spray and 20 mins later you have some volume.

Thanks for the help.

did you try leaning forward and putting ur hair in a high pony tail and then spraying a bit of water/hair spray JUST on the roots and wait until it dries naturally for 10-15 min

I will try them all and let you guys know which works the best. The only problem is that my hair is so fine and thin and not very long. Do you think this would still work??

Well I have naturally super curly and FUULL hair, and I wish I could have it nice and straight LoL But agree with the braids. Just put your wet hair in lots of braids, spritz it with hairspray and sleep on it. That will cause some major waves

Well a good body/volume shampoo & condtioner

use oil to give volume/ take away the frizz/ shine

when you wet your hair put it into braids and leave it that way for hours
