Could my mixing foundations be the cause of breakouts?

hey guys some of you saw my post about my acne outbreak the past few months. well my mom made a comment when i was complaining about it today and i got to thinking i have been wearing el double wear for atleast 4-5 months always loved it.. also starting mixin it with teint de idole for like a costum color.. love the look and coverage.. but hate that i feel like im wearing a mask everyday,not to mention my makeup seriously is not coming all of when i cleanse at night. im just realizing this problem now. i cleanse with proactive cleanser that ive used for years with success but all of a sudden these pimples that just seem to never go away and reappear at will. im so confused i cant pinpoint the problem. could the problem have been developing and no wmy pores are so clogged from the makeup thats why im breaking out? i don know if i should stop mixing the foundations.and i dont know how to better cleanse my face cause it seems proactive is removing all from my face at night. and now other areas of my face (side of chin etc) are flaking cause of me tryin to dry out the pimples.. ugh i cant stand it any more . please if anyone has any insight i would greatly appreciate it. tiffany

not sure if it's the ofundation, but you never know.

try doing a makeup remover to get the makeup off first and then clean your face with the proactiv so that's really getting in there

I'd stop mixing the fndt for a while and see how it goes.

i agree.

i'd recommend clean & clear's makeup remover cleanser. it's VERY gentle (foams) and gets everything off and then use your proactiv cleanser. it won't be too much because like i said, c&c is so gentle.

Yep, thats a good idea...stop mixing them for a while and see what happens. If not, maybe your stressed? There is all different causes for pimples.
