I love to cook and I absolutely love the chopping and slicing that go along with it. I consider myself to be excellent with a knife and most vegetables fear my skills. However, I get over-enthusiastic and slip up and cut myself occassionally. I haven't done any permanent damage yet, but eventually I will lose a finger during a brutal attack on a heart of romaine. Well I should fear no more, there is now a cool new stainless steel Cook's Cutting Guard ($14) to protect my fingers from accidents. You just slip it on and only the intended target is now diced during your blades of fury. This might also be good for older knife weilders as well.

I love cooking too, and i have to admit, i hate having to cut certain fruits/vegetables and cut my knuckles or fingers, i want one of these cutting guards too!

it's one of those, why the hell didn't i think of that and make a ton of money type things.

That's a great idea!! They would come with every knife set sold!! Safety first!! I'm going to go out and buy one... Maybe for my wife... For our wedding aniversary?

Karren, don't make the mistake I made...I bought my wife steak knives for our aniversary 28 years ago, I still hear about it!!

That looks like a great idea but I wonder if it would be more ***bersome than helpful.

that is cool, and something i could use too, the number of times i nearly cut a slice of my finger !
