Color Contacts for Dark Eyes

Hi there! This is my first thread...I saw an older thread here about colored contacts for brown eyes, but was wondering if I could get some more up to date info from you guys:

I am writing an article for my blog on what are the favorite color changes for dark eyes. Do most people want to go blue, like Paris Hilton, or gray like Lady Gaga (Bad Romance)? What about green and violet? Do you see color contacts as just another way to accessorize your eyes (like eye makeup etc.), are they just for fun, or do some of you want to "brand" yourself like Paris Hilton with a totally different color?

I'm interested what you guys think!

I would love to go Light gray. I have a darker green eye so a lot of the tinted lenses do not work.

It is a way of accesorizing and a less exrtreme way of being unique without the aid of tattoos and piercings.

There are coloured lenses specifically made for dark eyes. I have dark brown/ black eyes.  Unfortunately, my eyes are bad and they don't make them for my prescription anymore.  I did have violet and aqua before but I can't see using them anymore /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Gray is totally a hot color right now. I'm not sure how light these would be for you, but Freshlook Colorblends Gray (more natural) and Freshlook Colorblends Sterling Gray (more blue gray) look really pretty on most complexions.

I have almost black eyes and I use Freshlook colorblends.   I've used turquoise, blue, green, gemstone green, honey, brilliant blue, and true sapphire.  My faves so far have been gemstone, turquoise and brilliant blue.

Oh my. Violet would be a really cool color to try and some of the different blue tones. I still want to try all those colors, Bonnie. You're lucky.

next time you go to the eye doctor ask to try all the colors on.  I've tried every color on lol.  I really want to buy gray next.
