I don't think anything totally removes stretch marks but lots of things can fade them making them appear almost invisible, if you mean preventing them appearing in the first place then yes apparently it works. I would say buy 100% pure cocoa butter because it's much more concentrated, and it fades burns and scars too, or you could try pure shea butter that has good healing properties aswell.
i dont think this is true though it might help to prevent it such as if your pregant you can put coca butter all over your stomach everyday so you wont get bad strecth marks i know people thats done it and it really works, i havent used cocoa butter in years but when i did i used queen helene brand .hth
In second this, it doesn't work, it's just like moisturizing the area, and you would get the same result with the lotion you are using now, just get the blood circulation going, that's what is lacking where the stretch marks develop...
i think that she/he might mean that it can help to prevent them by making the skin more elastic. stretch marks develope because of a loss of elasticity in the skin. if you keep your skin super moisturized, say during your pregnancy, then you can reduce the chances that you'll get stretch marks at all. so slather in on before hand, because after you have them it's nearly impossible to get rid of them!
Yes I don't think that it prevents stretch marks. I used Palmer's Cocoa butter during my pregnancy and I think it was a mix of moisturization and luck that prevented them for me.
