I just bought the 3 step clinque set. Has anyone had any luck useing this to help clear there skin up?

I only tried their Dramatically different moisturizer (the gel type), and it was on the contrary drying for me. My skin is combination so i suspect only the very oily skins could like it, but i haven't tried the other products of that 3 step process, so maybe used together the products work better.

Clinique is a very good product! I found that when i used it, it makes your skin feel so fresh, its very cooling too. I wouldnt say it makes that much of a difference to spots ect, but it does make your skin very soft, and re-freshed.

Thats my personal oppinion, but im sure afte using it for some time, you might find it works different on yourself :)

xx

I'm one of the people who this skin care line worked for! I was using Neutrogena my entire life but decided to switch over a few months ago. I had a few break outs at first, which I expected when switching over to a new product but they quickly disappeared and a brand new face appeared shortly after. My overall skin tone has improved dramatically...its more even and so smooth! I still get a break out here and there but they are very tiny and around that time of the month which is pretty normal. I've had people notice a difference in my skin and even looking at pictures from a year ago, and pictures now I can see a difference too! Its pretty much hit or miss...either you love it or you hate it. If you're willing to be patient with it, give it a good couple of months to start seeing a difference. Also, I only use it once a day (in the night time) and wash my face with water in the morning and reapply the moisturizer then follow through with my foundation. I find washing my face 2 times a day with a cleanser is very drying (I have oily skin).

Check back and let us know how its going! Good luck!

I have a friend who uses it and she told me it helps her ALOT. But then on the other hand, there are many people who complain that it's a total waste of money. I guess it really depends on your skin.

I started using it around October, and at first I wasn't convinced if it was going to work. But, I kept with it and after a month or so my skin did start to improve. I still get occasional break-outs, but only when I'm a bit stressed, and the Clinique does seem to help clear it up quite quickly.

I have sensitive skin..

When I tried the clinique moisturizer - I broke out in welts on my chin and nose....painful, dry and burning.  The lady at the Clinique counter "convinced" me that I needed to stick with the moisturizer.

The issue just compounded.

The moisturizer is WAY too drying. So I stopped using it all
I switched to Shielo's Complexion Moisturizer, with the Shielo Anti-Aging Complexion Scrub (as my face wash) and within 2 days, I had NO itchy bumps on my forehead. The welts disappeared. I also had beautiful plump hydrated eyes.    I ended up buying 2 more moisturizers and gifted one to my sister who now loves it! Shielo is "allergy tested, dermatologist recommended" products.

Look at the ingredients...for one thing, Clinique does not list them online and are very reluctant to give out when you call....go with Shielo if you finally realize clique is not working out for you....

I never used everything in the 3-Step, but I did find the Toning Lotion to be very drying for my sensitive skin. The Daily Cream Exfoliant (not part of 3-Step) and the DDMG weren't half-bad though.

I've used Clinique for over 4 years now; the acne solutions and it has cleared my skin up a110%. I hardly get a pimple and when i do it goes away fairly quick. since I'm using the acne solutions with acne treatment the third step tends to dry out my skin sometimes so i do have to use a moisturizer after the third step.

I have used the other Clinique 3 steps and they didn't work for me! However, since I started using the acne 3 step, all I can say is wow!! Here is how I use it and it has worked wonders... I wash my face with the foaming cleanser in the morning (and at night if I had on make up after removing it). Soak a cotton pad with the toning lotion and run it over my face and neck. Use the third step, the clearing lotion on my cheeks only as that is where I tend to break out(and only a pea sized). SUPER IMPORTANT: I take a pea sized amount of the even better clinical and put it over the same places as the previous step (my cheeks). This stuff is my HG product!! Finally, I top my entire face with an oil free, sunscreen based cream/lotion (the cream changes from time to time, but I like the Boscia Oil Free Hydration). This process has made my skin SO much better and super minimized any left over red spots. Knock on wood, but I rarely break out now and can even play with other products since I have been using this for almost two years now, I think but saw results within the first month. I don't know if it will work for everyone but it did for me!! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
