Maybe because you are meant to use it everyday

i agree with goddess, thats probably it.

all i know is i had a mini travel version of it and when i used it it dried my skin out.

Hi Kaede, i think the reason it is called 7 day scrub is because it is gentle enough to use every day

Thanks for the responses everyone! That sounds right. I thought it might be you use it once every 7 days, but that makes more sense. Thanks!

Ditto to everyone else. I use to use it - it's very gentle, tiny beads..ideal for every day use. I really liked it...but now i prefer Aveeno's daily scrub.

I have it and love it but I don't use it every day. Every 3rd day or once a week is enough for my skin. A little of it goes a long way too.

I've never used any Clinique skin care products short of the Dramatically Different Lotion. I've heard lots of good thing about it though... Is Clinique really that good for skin care?

. The only products that are ok are the 7 day scrub and their facial "soaps". But of course what doesn't work for me, might work for you

About a year ago I had incredibly horrid acne (pustules...etc) and I tried everything from Proactiv, Murad, to just regular cleanser and the only thing that made my acne go away was Clinique. I didn't pick anything out on my own...I had a lady who was dedicated to helping me pick out only the best products for my oily face, and within a week of using it I seen such a dramatic difference. It was wonderful! I don't use Clinique anymore because I'm trying this stuff called Cosmedix, but once I'm done with Cosmedix I think I'll go back to using Clinique.

I agree with what the other girls say about the product being gentle enough to use every day of the week - however, when I read the title I also thought that it meant that the person using the scrub would see results in 7 days too...results of course meaning a clearer complexion, smaller pores, or whatever the product is aiming to achieve.

I have a sample size which I've used a few times and I can notice my acne scars fading already. That could be it too - I don't think it really tells you what it's supposed to do

I always thought it was b/c you could use it every day,as well. But I prefer Clarin's facial scrubs/exfoliators to Clinique's
