Does anyone know exactly how you do this? On, the bottle it says to mix it up shampoo and skin products but I thought I was to use it to cleanse my face. Does anyone know? I'd appreciate it. I bought a bottle because I tried that it treats dry skin and I'm currently on the Vaseline Challenge (working great) but I also want to treat the underline dry problem underneath the vaseline.

I also have oily hair with lots of dandruff and I heard this stuff makes all that go away....

I like jojoba oil better than EVOO + Castor oil for cleansing. I just apply some jojoba oil all over my face and massage it in, sometimes when I'm not feeling too lazy I'll steam my face with it on and keep massaging it in. I instantly see my makeup dissolving and sliding off my face. I then wash my face with water and wipe it with a washcloth or even tissue sometimes.

Sometimes I apply it on my face and just hop in the shower, the warm water opens up my pores and allows the jojoba oil to penetrate better.

i apply jojoba directly on my scalp, let it sit for as long as i have and then wash it off with shampoo. it didnt do much for me tho. ive used it on my face too but for some reason my skin always felt kinda tight after that. i dont like jojoba that much. i hope it works better for you tho.

I do the exact same as beautynista and it works great for me. I use a 50/50 mixture of jojoba and castor oil w/ a bit of tea tree oil and massage that.

just out of curious, in the states or Canada where do you girls buy those natural oils?

can't remember if I saw them at Walgreen when I was there.

Where do you have to go for these? Natural foods stores, or where? I'm interested in getting some oils myself, but I can't even begin to think of where to go! I mean, I know I can get EVOO in Wal-Mart LOL!

Usually the natural food stores will have it.

I use jojoba oil under my moisturizer, I think it improved my skin and it make my face glow :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I bought mine online I just did a search for Jojoba oil and got it for I think $6 for 4oz. Not bad.

I used pure Jojoba oil today to take off my makeup and it just slipped off. Fantastic. Found a great make up removal LOL.

Tonight I'm going to try mixing it with olive oil and tea tree oil (what I already got in the house) and massage it into my skin then steam for 5 or 10 minutes so that my pores open up and absorb it.

Is, that how everyone else does it? I don't have to steam my face everyday do I? I heard it's good but not all the time.

I got my jojoba oil at my nearest GNC store. But...some grocery stores with a natural health section will have it too. I bought Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil and Castor Oil and I use half Castor and half one or the other of the other two and massage it into my skin, then put a warm washcloth over it to steam like others here. Feels great and I thought it would make me oilier and it doesn't. I have never heard the thing about putting it in your hair or what it's good for there though. Sorry I can't help you there. Maybe someone else has tried that.

thanks, that's helpful. Amazon should have stores which can arrange world-wide shipping. it's good for me.

Try saffronrouge.com, it's a little more expensive but it's organic and a 100 ml bottle. Also drugstore.com have natural and organic jojoba oil and both sites ship internationally.

I sometimes get the worst dry scalp flakes, I found that jojoba oil works okay, but what really works for me is tea tree oil when my scalp is flaking. you can find the tee tree almost anywhere sometimes its in the nail ailse though

hmm!! i may have to try this all of a sudden my skin is really dry!

Hi- I think most people steam using a warm or hand hot washcloth (I use Eve Lom linen(?) cloths, and they work great), place over the face for 5-10 seconds, then gently massage the oils off using the washcloth.

Works great for me, and the first cleansing method ever that helped with my oily skin!

Hey, I use Jojoba Oil! I love it as a makeup remover and cleanser! It's a great lip and scalp moisturizer. You can use it as a leave-in conditioner for your hair, or as a body lotion. The stuff's awesome!

thank you for the info, I had a quick look both website. the items on SuffronRouge.com seems authentic and nice. Drugstore.com seems more fun, and their link Beauty.com seems good too. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Since I try not to buy cosmetics often, I need good excuse myself buying something from those website!!

I usually just use jojoba oil as a moisturizer and it works well for me that way. for cleansing your face, I would think you'd have to do some scrubbing to get it off since it's an oil. maybe use baking soda afterwards as an exfoliator to get the oiliness off your face.

OK.. so i have this book. Hollywoods black book of beauty secrets... and they talk about using EMU oil.... anyone use that?
