Cleansing Routine

A few questions for u all /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

When I take off my make up I use Mac Cleanse Off Oil, then a cleanser, and then a few times a week I do my Dr.Brandt Microdermabrasion. Should I be cleansing with the cleanser before or after the Microdermabrasion?

Also, when I use my Queen Helene mask, should I cleanse-- then apply the mask, or cleanse afterward?

Hmm ya thats what i thought and have been doing it, but thought well the QHM sucks all the gunk out of the pores... so does it somehow act as a cleanser as well?

you should always cleanse first!

Hi! I do the exact order you're doing:

Cleansing oil

cleanser

optional - Microdermabrasion 2x weekly

toner

serum

eye cream

moisturizer

I don't use masks but I would think that it would be better to use it after cleansing, since it could be less effective if applied over surface grime.

i agree. always cleanse and exfoliate before using your mask.

Yeah, DITTO to what everyone else said. You should want to use a cleanser first before applying the mask so that your face is then cleaned and refreshed.:icon_chee
