been thinking in purchasing one, but not sure if it will work to get out whiteheads/blackheads deep into the skin to the surface. . . and maybe it might open up my large pores more?

Thanks llehsal

I've read some of the reviews on here, but thought maybe someone has tried it recently and knew where I can get it from for a cheaper price. Just in case I want to resell it. Ha.

I hear the Olay version is a comparable alternative, although I don´t think it vibrates?

Did you ever use a leave on product with 2% salicylic acid for your blackheads?

I have the Clarisonice 2speed one and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!  My face is normally oily and it's not with the usage of the Clarisonic. I haven't had a blemish since I got mine and started using it.  It exfoliates amazingly.  My pores look much smaller now, too.  My skin looks more even and even the redness is not as prominent.  I have nothing but great things to say about my Clarisonic.  My skin has never looked so good and clean.  I use a Clinique cleanser with it.  You can use whatever cleanser you want with the Clarisonic.  It is spendy, but worth every penny!  I've received numerous compliments on my skin from friends, family, and strangers.  I should get a referral bonus for all the people I've recommended this to!

Andi, I've been using a liquid foundation by Neutrogena that has salicylic acid at 0.5%. . . but they are still present. Maybe I need something more?

Thanks MakeupofDesire. Where did you purchase yours? I've heard most people who use it don't use the cleansers that originally came with the product. . . Wonder why that is. . .

that is a very low amount, you should probably go for a 2% product with the correct pH. I take all my reviews & ingredient list breakdowns from beautypedia.com, and the best BHA product from the drugstore that they recommend is Neutrogena´s Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 moisturizing treatment. I use it myself (even though I don´t have white- or blackheads, I use it for chemical exfoliation), and it´s very gentle and quite soothing.

You could definitely still get the Clarisonic, but salicylic acid is supposably best at keeping your pores clean and improve & prevent blackheads.

OH! Thanks, Andi. I was actually going to buy that! I read up a review on it and even watched some youtube vids.

Glad it has been working for you too.

You´re welcome. Hope you end up liking it and I hope it delivers the results you´re looking for! My skin is very oily, so I like that this has a very lightweight, thin texture.

I understand wanting the Clarisonic though, I´m certain that it won´t dramatically change my skin, but I still want it lol (not getting it though)

Thanks. I hope so too. It's really annoying to see something that just wont go away. Haha. My skin is very oil too. Curious, do you ever wear the 3-1 product under your make up? ?

Maybe someone can or will give you the Clarisonic as a gift. . . I'm surely hoping for that.

no I don´t, I always use my chemical exfoliants at night. Cause during the day, I wear sunscreen under my makeup, and adding another product would make me even greasier than I already am. But you can definitely wear it at night and in the morning, with sunscreen on top.

I recently bought the Olay ProX version of this. Much cheaper. And the head spins, two speeds. I've had it for less than a week. And honestly I love it. Maybe it was me being lazy with my skin before and now this thing super cleans me but i am happy. I have tragically oily skin and since i've started using this religiously I don't have to pat my nose until hours and hours after i put my makeup on. This is a huge accomplishment for me, especially since I work in a hot environment ( and work out !).

I would like to see them come out with different strength heads like clarisonic. I do like that clarisonic is rechargeable. Depending ... i may still buy one in the future. The soft bristles are working really well for me right now but i think they should up their game and keep up with clarisonic.

also, dare i admit, I have cloggy pores. I wear makeup everyday ( and dont yell at me) sometimes crash at the end of the day before washing it off. I know, nasty, and i regret it every time. But my skin texture has drastically improved in such a short time.

So which ever you buy, Clarisonic or Olay ProX... i think it's a great addition to your cleansing routine.

Thanks for the info ladies on both Clarisonic and Olay. I keep thinking I want to try the Olay version for now because Clarisonic is out of my price range. My pores get glogged also because many times I fall asleep with makeup on. I use makeup remover wipes now to help me quickly take my makeup off even if I'm really tired and need to attend to the baby. That has helped but I'm thinking using an extra exfoliator such as the Clarisonic or Olay would help my skin even more. I gotta check out the Olay ProX next time I'm at Target.

I didn't want to wait until my next Target trip so I just ordered Olay Pro X online. I can't wait to get it and see if it will make a difference in my skin.

I just got the Olay Pro X in the mail and tried it for the first time last night. It came with a little exfoliating cream. I used the cream and the Pro X and I don't think my skin has ever felt so clean and smooth. I was very impressed with the first try. Now I wish I had bought this earlier.

Reija and Angels41105. . . I think I'm going to try Olay's out too. Heard a lot of good reviews for it and since both of you think it's great and less in price, why not? Thanks for replying your experiences here

Andi, I bought the 3-in-1 cream. It's been clearing out most of my blackheads and acne. There are some still, but cleaner looking. And I sometimes wear it under my makeup and it is a bit greasy sometimes. . .Depending on what activities I do. Thanks so much for recommending the cream though!

Sounds great! I think blackheads can be tough to get rid of completely, you may have to use a chemical exfoliant every day and may have to use a scrub/skin brush as well. But it sounds like you´re on the right track
