So I have really thick Italian dark hair, LOL, and it's naturally wavy; not the good kind either...the kind that knots

I was wondering if there was anything to help keep it down and non-frizzy and soft. I currently use TIGI bed head after party, but I'm starting to think that the only thing that's good for is smelling pretty.

Also, I hear about the CHI flat iron being the best...but right now I don't have enough $$ for one, so is there any iron that compares to it at a cheaper price?

Thanks!!

Instead of After Party you could use...

KMS Silk Sheen Shaping Cream

I find after flat ironing, rubbing a bit between my hands to warm up the product and lightly running it through my hair helps take away the fly aways and tame the ends.

This one I use if I wanted super soft and super shiny hair after ironing or curling with the flat iron. Its not as thick as the KMS product above yet a little goes a very long way. Its amazing!

As far as flat irons, Folica.com has chi irons for like 69.99, you cant get any cheaper then that. Right now I'm inlove with the Jet Black Infra-Repair iron, it literally repairs and seals the cuticle everytime you go down the hair with it. Unfortunetly, I dont t hink the Jet Black iron is available to the public yet (was given a sample by a rep) as a google search found no information about the product. It's made by Dannyco.
