Well, if you opt for a Chemical peel, i read that a 21 day cycle of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrate soothes and rebuilds skin.
You can try Kinerase Cream which tackles blotchiness and wrinkles.
I think Phyilosophy Help me Retinol Night Treatment fades spots and plumps lines without any flakiness..but i'm not sure how permanent the results are if you stop using it.
Let me know if any of these recommendations help.
In addition, i would say that sunscreen protects you 1.5 times longer than without sunscreen. So that means that you still get burnt but it takes you longer than someone who doesn't wear sunscreen. No, reapplying after 2 hours doesn't work either...it still protects you..but not as much. This is what my dermatologist has told me. so, for pure protection...either tightly woven clothes, a hat and zinc oxide..but the latter is a bit impossible for most people since it's completely opaque and you don't want people staring at you.
