I was in Lush the other day and I saw this cleanser/mask called Dark Angel. It has charcoal powder and rhassoul clay. I was wondering if anyone has tried this before or anything that contains charcoal powder?

Not charcoal but working in the mines I got enough coal powder on my face to last a life time... Didn't help as far as I can tell..

LOL. I don't think its the same thing...altho I think your skin is wonderful.

Its activated charcoal, avocado oil, rhassoul clay, a sulfactant, some essential oils, from what I gathered.

I've read that charcoal is suppose to be really good for acne. I've never used it though...

Me neither, that black thing is quite scary

I only use charcoal to get rid of constipation.

Yup. charcoal powder makes it black. kinda like dead sea mud but a little darker when it goes on. it washes off your face and hands so it doesn't leave you all black.

I came up with 1 tbsp rhassoul, 5 caps of charcoal (1/4 teaspoon ?), a pinch of Epsom salt, 2 drops of lemon essential oil. I left it on for 20 minutes, and my skin looks definitely more clear, and even. It did wonders for my nose pores. So i will definitely repeat this in the future

Epsom salt? That's what I'm missing!!! I think you got the Lush recipe down to a 'T'. They did have a sulfactant in it as well because its supposed to be a cleanser. I added some oat flour to mine as well.
