Which skin-care products do you swear by and can't live without and why? I'm curious to know what other products users consider must-haves and what they do for your skin.

My skin is combination but odd in that it's dry after washing and then gets oily quickly in the t-zone. I'm not sure if I qualify as t-zone dry or oily.

My absolute must haves are:

La Roche Posay Active C gel - I don't know where to find it in the states so I have my cousin mail me the product. This makes my skin soft and supple and evens out my complexion. It's done great things for my skin and a tube last me a good 8 months with daily use, usually twice a day. I've used this for 2+ years.

Kiehls' Pineapple Papaya scrub - I ran out and haven't been able to re-purchase because it is rather expensive and now that I'm back in school and not working, my budget is tight. I've used this for a good 4 years and nothing else loosens dead skin cells and exfoliates like this. It's gentle on my skin and really helps get rid of my blackheads and dull skin.

Queen Helene Mint Julpe Mask - nothing shrinks my pores and removes blackheads like this. It's so cheap to boot as well. Only downside is it leaves my skin extremely dry afterwards so I have to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. It's well worth it though.

Honey. I just smear it on my face after I wash it and leave it 10-15 minutes. It gets rid of blemishes, yet moisturizes really well at the same time. It's sticky, but it rinses away easily with warm water. And it's dirt cheap. I love it! I learned this trick from the girls at MUA.

Hi,

My h/g skincare product is Dermalogica's Skin Prep Scrub. It contains corn cob meal which prevents abrasions on your skin. When I use this, my face feels so soft and smooth. Actors Vivica A. Fox and Jada Pinkett-Smith are big fans of this exfoliator too.

Check out my review of Skin Prep Scrub in MUT's Review Section.

clinical basics skin care...cleanser, scrubbing beads, moisturizer. I just bought the peel and will try it soon.

I'm always trying out new skin care products so I only have a couple I can't live without. I love L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise eye cream though. I've tried several high end eye creams, and either they stung my eyes or were too thick for me. I've been using it for a while now, and it has yet to cause any irritation whatsoever. A HG skin care product for my body is Cetaphil moisturizing lotion. It's inexpensive, very gentle, get's the job done well, and doesn't clash with my perfume.

Biore oil free moisturizer, Proactiv's toner and refining mask, Olay's two in one cleanser and toner, differin and garnier's cleanser.

Shea Butter - great as lip balm, for dry skin, hair moisturizing treatment

Bindi Essential Oil - especially when my skin is acting freaky and needs to calm down

DHC Cleansing Oil - so gentle but removes all of my makeup (granted I dont wear THAT much)

Can you tell I have dry skin! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Asprin Toner

Petroleum Jelly

Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil

Shu Uemura Depsea Facial Mist in Bergamot

Sunscreen (haven't found a great one yet, currently Okay with Neutrogena Dry Touch)

Epidermx microdermabrasion

Silkia camellia oil

Green Cream

MAC Fast Response eye cream

MyChelle vitamin c

Neutrogenia On-The-Spot Acne Treatment! It is 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, and it does a great job of clearing up my acne without drying out my skin like the 10% BP solutions!

I also have very oily skin, and while I've found some products that help the oil a little bit, I've never found a miracle product that I just can't live without. Unless you count blotting sheets -- that's the only way I can keep my makeup looking good all day long! lol :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
