I know they say you're never supposed to use a curling iron on a synthetic wig or hairpiece. I just wondered if anyone has tried it.....on warm of course......and had any success. I have a beautiful new copper red wig with blondish highlights that I want to wear to a dance Sunday night and would like to make some little ringlets around my face. Most of mine are MY hair color and I always take some of my hair out and curl IT into ringlets around my face. But with this one being red, I can't do that.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I wouldnt do it, it will melt. The hair gets scraggly and will turn hay like :icon_eek: Plus because its synthetic it wouldnt hold a curl well anyway.

Hmmm... this is tricky - because it could melt it. But, if you want to try a warm setting, try an inconspicuous spot and see if it takes a curl. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks for the heads up. :icon_razz I kinda thought so. I'll just stick with mouse & curlers......I have some teeny, tiny ones that will make small ringlets.
