So! My stylist, in late June went extremely scissor happy on my hair that was about mid-****. My hair is now down to my collar bone, and it is thick, so needless to say, it looks like an absolute disaster on me. A straightening iron does wonders, but I can't rock the look at all.

I usually do like I do when I put my hair in a pony tail, but the last time I twist the elastic and pull my hair through, I don't take it all the way out, so it leaves this kind of pseudo bun thing going on. I am SO getting tired of it, and don't know what else I can do that would be cute.

Any ideas at all?

I don't have any ideas? But I did laugh when you described you length as mid-****...lol

Here's a few pictures to give you some ideas of what I do when I want to wear my hair up or half up. I ussualy go with something kinda touseled.

Ponytail with the bangs puffed up a little. I have no idea what to call it. But Makeupwhore54 (Ashley) and Bebebaby have both done this look in some of their FOTD's. So you may be able to see what I mean there.

I also like a cute headband with or without a ponytail too.

I also like to clip my bangs back like I mentioned first without the pony and just leave the sides either straight or wavy.

That is all I can think of off the top of my tired head. HTH a little.

Yeah I forgot to mention headbands. I am a headband FIEND. They turn any bad hair day around instantly, and I have a lot of bad hair days. They look cute when your hair is down and straight or curly, or any up do or half-up do. If I get a bad haircut or I'm just have a "blah" hair day, a cute headband instantly makes it all better!

i usually go for a tousled style too, my hair being naturally tousled lol. i tie my hair on the neck, letting loose only the shorter pieces of the front that i simply put behind my ears after.

my brother's girlfriend has a shoulder-length hair, and she uses those mini claws, just to put back her hair piece by piece. it's really cute and classy at the same time.

i use those mini claws too, for a loose ponytail, instead of using a scrunchie.
