Can foundation primer be a moisturizer substitute

I dont think so. They are meant for different purposes.

Probably not. I don't think that primers are very moisturizing. It would be interesting if a cosmetic line made a moisturizer primer in one product!

oh okay; i've never used a primer before but descipritions i've read make it sound kinda moisturizing; seems like alot to put on - moisturizer, primer, foundation, lol. was hoping i could skip a step. :laughno:

Nope. They're designed for different purposes. Primer doesn't penetrate in the skin like moisturizer does. Primer is made to provide a base for your foundation, rather than moisturize your skin. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
