Hi all,

Can anybody tell me that can diet system make any effect on the beauty? My one of the friend has told me that when you are dieting for that period only you look good means your skin gets shine and fair and beautiful, whatever else. But when you just leave it your skin becomes normal as it was earlier.

And she was also telling that when you go to gym for that period only you can maintain your health and figure and when you leave it becomes as it was earlier.

To maintain the beauty of the skin and figure she was telling that i suppose to continue with my diet chart and gym.

For that reason only i hesitate to join the gym and dieting.

What is the truth i don't know. Can you tell me?

Personally I hate diets... or dieting.... because when the diet is over the weight comes back... better off to change your food consumption lifestyle going forward... Eat less, eat better and yes what you eat definately effects your beauty... You are what you eat.... and as long as your getting sufficient exersize somewhere in your day then your good but if joining a gym makes you get the exersize you need then do it.... If I didn't play ice hockey every week I would weigh 50 pounds more and set on the couch watching TV all day...

Me, too. I don't do diet. For most people, the perception of diet is starving yourself. Which is wrong. Just watch what you eat. Eat healthy foods because they are rich in vitamins and minerals which helps keep our skin healthy, as well.

The healthy lifestyle - healthy diet, exercising, good sleep, etc. - makes your skin glowing and your body strong and healthy, which means beautiful.

The true definition of DIET is what you EAT and not what you don't eat. Probably because you are eating healthier while you are maintaining that program and exercising regularly that you are becoming healthier. It doesn't mean that you are going to starve. I would analyze what you are eating in that diet vs what you eat when you are not on it and you'll probably get your answer. Its probably because your are eating more junkfood.

Beauty starts from the inside out. Don't b afraid of change. When you start eating more organic produce, you will feel better w more energy and not so sluggish. When I eat fast food, I immediately feel sick. Then I ask myself, "y did I eat that?"

Exercising allows you to get rid of toxins by sweating, and eating a balanced, healthy diet and drinking enough water will provide all the nutrients your skin needs to look healthy. In fact, your skin being an external organ, you could say your health is reflected on your skin. So yes, a diet (i use this word to describe what you eat) has an effect on your beauty

Back when I had terrible acne, everyone and their brother would tell me what to eat and what not to eat. Oh, if only I would follow their advise my acne would clear up.

News flash - it took two round of accutane to clear up my acne.

Moral of the story - don't factor diet to clear up acne. If a healthy diet makes you feel better, then stay on it for that reason.

couldn´t agree more. I´m sure some people notice clear, radiant skin once they start eating healthy/vegetarian/vegan/etc. But at the same time, a lot of people have gorgeous, flawless skin and eat junkfood all the time.

Genetics, the amount of sun exposure throughout your life and whether or not you use or need regular exfoliation are still the most important factors that will determine how your skin looks and will look in the future.
