Brown to Blonde: Best drugstore dye OR How do you get Semi-Perm dye out?

I had light blond hair, but I dyed it Medium Brown with Natural Instincts.  It's been over a month and it hasn't washed out much.  I need blond hair next week (funeral, my mom will be annoyed, I don't want to annoy her at a funeral).

I tried this with Feria years ago and got orange hair.  What's the best brand to go back to blond with? 

I tired Prell and it hasn't done anything, but I'd try more natural remedies before I use chemicals.

Have you tried dandruff shampoo like Head and Shoulders? Something in the formula helps strip dye..try the classic clean. Hot oil treatments help and you can always get L'Oreal Colorist Secrets or Color Zap Hair Remover... The last can be found at Sally's beauty supply. I think the L'Oreal bleaches your hair while the other just strips the dye out, taking you back to your normal shade. Either way, you'll want to deep condition frequently, to keep moisture in your hair and try to maintain its health.
