What drugstore self tanner with instant bronzer is the best. I need it when I want a quick tan, but one that develops into a darker tan as time goes by.

Sounds like a self-tanning lotion that you'll have to keep using, but unless you change to a deeper color, you'll probably stay the same color. Unless I read wrong and you mean one of the new gradual tanning lotions like Jergens has...

I want a self tanner, that has color when you put it on , like a color guide I guess. I just wondered which one is the best. I think I might go with sublime bronze tinted lotion. Sorry I didn't make myself clear.

I have the moisturizer which gives me a fast and naturally lookin tan ... but i realli want to try the towels ... i've heard a lot of good things about 'em

Hi wvpumpkin, Sounds like you are looking for a tanner with a colour guide so that you can see where you are applying it. I have just spent the last 3 days using St Tropex Auto Bronzant. There are 3 different formulations, a lotion, a moose and a spray. These products give an instant color but to be honest it does look much better when actually developed rather than relying on the actual colour guide for color.

One word of advice though, since self tanning is a messy business and also from experience i would advice you to buy some self tan remover.I have found that applying tan with plastic gloves (however tight fitting) the result is no where as good as if applyed with bare hands. The plastic from the gloves simply spreads the tan on the skin whereas with your hands you can rub it in so the skin absorbs it and the effects are much much better, a stronger tan with less streaks. The tan remover is amazing and will leave your palms prefectly clean for up to 4 hours after application.

I applied my tan 2 days in a row with plastic gloves and was dissapointed with the results. When my tan remover arrived and i used my hands i was amazed!

You can get St Tropez cheaper from ebay.
