Diamonds are a girl's best friend — and spas are one of her favorite places to hang out! Whoever was the first cosmeceutical genius to come up with the idea of mixing the two together was really onto something. BellaSugar proudly brings you the first of a three-part series that focuses on a new wave of skincare products that contain precious gems. Today, we are looking at products with diamonds.

La Mer Refining Facial ($75) is a smoothing cream that contains natural exfoliating agents, including diamond powder, sea quartz, and fermented acidic sea mud, which rid your face of dead and dry skin cells. Your skin instantly looks radiant, re-texturized, and renewed, since the special ingredients turn your mini-massage into energy that helps increase circulation and overall vitality of your facial skin.

Natura Bisse Diamond Drops ($300) are an extremely concentrated facial serum made from marine DNA. The delicate drops form a shield on your face to help protect and neutralize you skin from damaging free radicals and environmental factors. Think of this serum as a defense mechanism for your face! It also helps to lift the skin and minimize the look of fine line and wrinkles.

These products are for the Paris Hilton's of the world! If I'm going for diamonds, I'm going for the sparkly ones I can wear on my body! Interesting though...

Thanks for the post!

I find it hard to believe that diamonds or gold is beneficial for the skin.
