I found a website that has (free of course) tutorials with written instructions and pics for different style braids.

Braid types: Three strand, French, Dutch, Lace, Five strand, Square four strand, Herringbone, Twist, Perimeter, Flat four strand, Cornrows.

Styles: Crown, combination, classic, rosestem, Cascade, Loose braid.

There are even Lord of the Rings styles.

Wow what a great information. Thanks for sharing...now am gone look some of them..

cool site...i dont have long enough hair to braid but i'll try it on my little sister or cousin sometime

All I know are the 3 strand and french, but I'd like to learn more. I especially love to braid my hair and leave it over night, so when I wake up in the morn I have killer waves. I dampen and spray it with gel for the sexy tousled look!

i liked that fishtail one. well i liked them all but it was my favorite. thanks for sharing =)

Thanks for the site...I am actually getting cornrows on June 15 I will post pics the next day
