Boots No7

I have been wanting to change my skin care products, OK actually find some skin care products rather than random items. So I researched Daybreaks' Rhassoul/POM and Miessence. I couldnt find enough current reviews to convince me to purchase either one. So then here on MUT I read about Boots No7. This line sounds very appealing to me, so that is what I asked for my birthday.

Well my wonderful husband, daughter, and niece came through with a lot of the items, so I am so excited to them try tonight.

Anyone use this line? What I'm curious about is the restore & renew. At what point in the steps does this go on? I am assuming before moisturizer? Also is it an everyday once a day item, or less often?

I think the serum goes under your moisturizer once a day. I bought some also, but I haven't tried it yet. Hopefully some of our UK ladies will post here and give us stateside peeps some more info.

Well I have only tried twice so far, last night and this morning. But so far I really like it. The daygel moisturizer and the restore and renew go on with a nice light feeling.

This morning I tried the deep cleansing purifying mask. It has the look and feel of half melted marshmallow fluff, and when you put it on it is warm. Interesting feeling, but I liked it. It says to leave on for 3 minutes or so, so I put it on before my shower, and then washed it off in there.

So far I like a lot.

YAH!! Glad you seem to like it so far. I've heard nothing but good things about the line.

I didn't know about this line until today. I saw it at Target. I might check it out.

It is sold out everywhere in Cnada, the BBC and CNN did a report saying that it really works, anti-aging wise, but i haven't tried it.

Just tonight I picked up the Boots Botanicals starter kit at Target with cleanser, toner, and moisturizer but have not tried them yet, and I too would like any input on how the Botanicals or No. 7 products work.

hiya cissy, i work for boots in northern ireland and the restore and renew sounds like what we call protect and perfect. it is a beauty serum that you use daily underneath your moisturiser, it works well with the uplifting moisturiser in the range though not sure of its canadian name. it was featured over here on a tv programme that said it was only serum tested that actually stops wrinkles, and it has a lot to do with the antioxidant ingrediants in it. it also brightens your complexion. hth xx

I m using the UK version of restore & renew which is protect & perfect. I use it daily after my cleanser and before my moisturizer. I know it's actually against wrinkles but I m using it for post acne scars, which works pretty well!!

 Boot Botanicals or Boots No. 7 ??????  What is the difference in these 2 products?  I am interested in the BOOTS facial skin care line, but it seems to be very confusing to me.  I have dry to normal skin.  I am 64 and need something for matured skin.  HELP please!  Does anyone know which of the BOOTS products is made mainly for the matured skin?  You can't seem to talk to anyone at the Boots No 7 website.  So, I don't want to waste money buying things that won't work for my skin.  Any and all suggestions would be very much appreciated!  Thanks, JoAnn from TEXAS
