Okay, so I've been suffering from Eczema since I was kid.

It use to be very severe when I was younger, especially on my legs and arms. Now a days, I get them usually on my hands because my a hands-on person and I wash things and whatnot which in turn flares up my eczema.

But the rashes I had on my legs since I was younger left scars and a few marks from those childhood accidents. I also have a few nicks from shaving... ugh.

Anyone know a solution to help lighten or completely have them gone?

Thanks.

I had the same problem when I was small. But then surprisingly it was cured. However, recently I started having them again. I take a local medicine for their cure, it's homeopathic. Maybe you can search for some homeopathic medicines on the net.

Vitamin E oil works well. I buy the gel caplets and puncture them so it is fresh.

I've massaged vitamin e oil or mederma into my surgical scars (5). When I did it twice a day, I saw results within two weeks or so.

Oooo Thanks, loads!

I'mma put that on my to-buy list soon. Thanks again, guys!

I used Vitamin E cream to get rid of my eczema scars, it worked really well.

In the meantime, you can use Dermablend to cover the scars up. I have the exact same problem its sorta difficult to deal with but I found Dermablend and it works really well. I'll have to try the Vitamin E thing too.

I have heard that a special cream made of snail helps to reduce scars... Personally I used one made of pearls (I will check the name of it if anyone wants) and it made my scars lighter

Derma blend for a cosmetic fix. Totally works, has a setting powder and is water resistant, you can even swim with it. It feels thicker, but women(and some men) use it for spider veins, scars, stretch marks, tattoos and no one is the wiser. It doesnt even transfer so pretty much once its on ,its on.

Hope this helps,

Richard

I've been using Queen Helene's Shea Butter Solid on my chin. I pluck unwanted hairs and sometimes get dark spots. This stuff works great!

Go to your nearest drugstore and ask the pharmacist about this gel sheeting that is applied to wounds in hospitals. I can't remember the name, but it became available over the counter several years ago. It smooths and lightens scars. HTH!

Lush or Lush.com sells a massage bar that I know my friends mom has used. She had really bad scars from surgery and within weeks it disappeared slowly as she used it. You massage it in your skin, it has vitamin E and a lotta nice oils to make your skin soft. It smells awesome! I think its about $6 or $7. I could be wrong but you should check it out. I think you would enjoy it.

Thanks! I've heard about Lush a lot, lately. I really have to check out their products.

I had surgery about a year ago, and my surgeon recommended rubbing vitamin E on the scars twice a day. He did say however that it's not so much the E that helps reduce the scars, but the rubbing motions help break up scar tissue...
