Summer is coming and it is time for me to peel shoulders (upper back).

I should not be so neglectful during the winter.  So now my skin is not pretty.  Sort of leathery looking and that is not good for summer tops.  The older I get the more aware I am of my skin looking supple and healthy.

I have already done a patch test and am preparing my skin now.  Will do this in a week or so.  I am trying to be better with my diet.  Lots and lots of fruits and veggies (which I love) and more water than usual.

I will be using 50% glycolic peel from Infinate Skin.  It never feels painful, sort of a prickly sensation.  From the looks of my skin it will take about 5 to 7 peels to make a difference.  I have done this many times before and  it always turns out so pretty.  It is a more peeling/flaking than the 60% Lactic Acid I use on my face, but nothing major.  Definately have to use 100 ss because I garden a lot untill winter so need it.

Let me know what you do for your body as far as peels and what are the results.

Thanks in advance

I'd been thinking about doing a LA peel but I just can't get around to it.  I have KP on my arms and I thought it'd decrease the pigmentation.

I use chemical peels on my face (TCA, glyocolic and lactic acid) but I have nothing on my body that would require a peel.

One time a friend asked me if I would do a low % TCA peel on her dark marks left from acne on her shoulders and back. I did it once, but she said she didn´t notice a difference (I guess 8% was just way too low for use on the body if you wanna see results, but I didn´t have a higher % back then)

Morning Andi,  I appreciate your comments a lot.  Perhaps the issue is because I am older and have very dry skin.  I also found a WEB site last night that interested me.  It is skin911.com.  Body wash and body cream.  I am so tempted.  So awkward to do my shoulders.    Regardless I am going to use 50% glycolic in a couple of weeks, but wanted a way to boost the skin softening and cell turnover.

I have a moisturizer with glycolic acid in it but I really don't feel like it works at all...... If anything I would just use a body scrub they always make my skin feel so soft!!
