Any suggestions on drugstore treatments for blotchy uneven skin?

I have a blotchy uneven skintone as well. I don´t know if there is ONE treatment that will get rid of it, but if there is I wanna know so I can buy it too :icon_chee
the only thing that works for me is using my L´Oreal Microdermabrasion kit regularly. right after the microdermabrasion I always use a facial mask, followed by a light self tanner (I use L´Oreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanner Gel for when I`m really pale and Johnson´s Holiday Skin Self Tan Lotion for when I gradually want to build a tan, it´s very light!....self tanners do a great job at evening out my skintone!)
that combo always works for me..at least my skin looks good the day after. not sure if there is a long term fix for our blotchy skin though. :icon_wink

Great tips, Andrea! I'm going to have to try them. I used to be a water only face washer, but ever since I restarted my skin care regime I find my skin blotchy. I guess that is the MD taking it's gradual steps, but I hate it. My skin never looked this bad (at least I don't think). Does anyone have any additional thoughts on this?
