Ive bought my bleach for my hair what I normally buy and Ive seen some toner I think it is in the local chemist, Its sort of purple and says on it that it removes yellowing and brassey colors in hair, would this be good to use after Ive bleached as sometimes I do find my darker hair ie: roots can often go a gingery yellow.

So my questions are pretty much will that be ok plus

How do I do it? Should I bleach, wash, dry then tone,

Or can I bleach today and tone tomorrow.

Im a little lost so if anyones done this before could you give me a little advice

If you end up with yellow/orangey tones, violet is going to be good for you. Just bleach it, shampoo that out and put the toner on damp hair.

i just touched up my bleached places and i ALWAYS tone! it's good stuff. i use it to refresh between bleaches, too.

Am I ok to bleach tonight and tone another day or do i do it in the same day? only i have the bleach and my toner wont be in stock till the end of this week and im dying to dye my roots!

The toner will still be able to knock out the unwanted color on another day.

what works best for me is when i mix up the bleaching kit for my hair and mix in the violet toner with the color, when i first went to the salon place they told me to do that and i have never had a problem.
