Hi there everybody,

I was out of the city last week so its great and surprising to see so many new posts. But as I scrolled down, checking things out, alot of you girls were complainys from blackheads. Yeah, and I can tell why, its so annoying javing your face look dirty like that, I had a whole tribe just last month but as I use the gycolic peel, nobody could even tell about the widened pores after I got rid of them.

So the reason why I am posting this thread is to give everyone here a chance to get the skin that everyone is after. I just want to let everybody know something.

This method of removing blackheads, worked great for me. It might not work for everyone who tries it, or none of you, or some of you, or maybe after a few times of doing it, it'll work for you. That's because nobody's skin reacts the same as the other. But I do hope that it will work for you.

This is how I got rid of the blackheads.

Clean your face with a gentle facewash. Then exfoliate. Right after exfoliation, steam your face with water and whatever herbs fit your skin type. Steam your face by boiling water. then draping a heavy towel over your head and staying like that for at least 10 minutes.

After steaming, right away, have a paste of water and baking soda ready, rub affected areas for one-two minutes, wash it off, remove blackheads by squeezing the skin, NOT HARD AND NOT WITH YOUR FINGER NAILS. Whatever is contained in your pimples should come out easily.

Leave on a firming mask, or just whisk egg white and leave it till it dries.

Wash off with cool water.

If you feel your pores are wider start using a gycolic peel. I am currently using a Life brand peel and its gentle and really great!

Any questions or comments, Im here, lol, hope it works for the many of you.

Miss Lovely

Thanks for sharing. :icon_smil I tried using baking soda many months back, and it irritated my skin.

I'm seeing really good results using the Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Treatment Mask.

I really need to schedule a facial. :smilehappyyes: I have a couple of bumps that won't go away.

I really like using apple cider vinegar and natural white cosmetic clay for my blackheads. I've never looked at glycolic peels. They're something you can find at the drugstore, right?

great method, my big sis used it back when she was a teenager(zillion blackheads) and i remeber her skin looked really clear and fresh..

Misslovely, thx a lot for sharing

Thanks for the tip- I'll have to try... The steaming thing feels soooo good! I usually just have a nice steamy bath to try to open pores :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I've tried the baking soda thing before, but I don't remember quite how it turned out, though I've heard that it's a great little spot treatment for drying out the nasties ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Just a word of caution: All facial types can steam except couperose skin . ( couperouse= broken capillaries) If you steam your face then you will get more broken capillaries and once you get them you can not get rid of them without the help of drs.

If you abolsutely must steam and you have this skin type, do not steam for tow long and use a light steam of course.

Also extractions can cause broken capillaries so be gentle when you do them. My tip is to use two q-tips like how you would use your fingers. Sometimes its even good to wet the tips slightly with astrigent and as you do extractions, the tips will get filled with the "gunk" using this method it is very hard for you to exert too much pressure and leave nail marks anywhere. personally I find it easier to do this way.

The baking soda is actually a old remedy it is called disincrustation in the milady's books.

For me, one time doing this got rid of all the blackheads around my nose. So it really depends.

Great tips!! Steaming is realllly good for blackheads. If you only have them on your nose, you could run a rag under hot water and lay it on your face and that will also help loosen things up so that the blackheads can be removed easily. Just a suggestion for those who may not have them all over because i know alot of people, including myself, only get them on their nose..

me too. I´ll only have this tiny little black "dots" on the tip of my nose. they never really bothered me that much until I read this thread LOL
