in case you didnt know (warning this is geeky and factual);
When too much oil is produced, dead skin cells are in the way, and the pore is impaired or misshapen, the path for the oil is blocked, creating blackheads. the use of products containing ingredients similar to sebum (triglycerides, fatty acids, wax esters, squalene, cholesterol, and cholesterol esters). can absorb into the pore, adding to the build up of sebum.
make sure you are using a soap free cleanser, the tallow in the soap will harden in your pores and cause black heads.
beta hydroxy acid/salicylic Acid are good exfoliators that help break up the dead skin. make sure you get a good alcohol free 1-2% salicylic acid product. if your sensitive start off every other day and move up to twice a day.
the pore strips are mostly crap, they will pull of the surface off the black head but almost never gets the whole thing out.
and you might want to get a good exraction facial to start off your efforts, its easyer to prevent new one then to get rid of old ones.
oh i forgot, retin a is supposed to be really good too.
